Beth’s storytelling exploits began in second grade when her mother (a pastor’s wife) had her read to the Kindergarten class she was teaching. She went on to graduate with a teaching degree and then her life took an unexpected turn. The adventurer in her won out and she became a flight attendant instead.

This turn of events didn’t mean that she left teaching behind. Instead, it morphed into developing and teaching children’s curriculum in churches, and then later writing and teaching Bible studies for women which led to winning the KTIS radio writer’s contest and a devotion of hers can be found in the anthology Whispers of Grace, Volume 2. 

Beth has gone on to teach just about anyone willing to listen, whether it be small home groups or large events. In 2020 she graduated from Bethel Seminary in St. Paul with her certificate in Biblical studies which has helped her dig even deeper into Scripture.

During her twenties, Beth found Neal, a fellow-adventurer to share life with. They married and now have two grown children, one grandchild, two granddogs and a goldendoodle that coerces her into taking regular walks.
